In this study-unit, participants will be provided with new tools which they can use to improve their own thinking and to develop their potential for creative thinking. Some of the key points that will be covered in this study-unit include:
- Learning and using different thinking techniques which include, but are not limited to, perception-broadening tools, SCAMPER, Lateral Thinking, Random Word, SWOT and PEST analysis;
- Lateral Thinking in Practice;
- Use of various thinking techniques in situations involving decision making, communication and design – Practical Sessions.
The emphasis of this study-unit is on the active participation of the students who will be provided with opportunities to practice individually and in groups all the tools learnt.
